Introduction
Within the Book of Enoch, we discover the story of Methuselah, who was the father of the oldest person in the Bible, living for an impressive 969 years.
In accordance with Jewish customs, Enoch was Noah’s great-grandfather and he had a close relationship with God.
“And Enoch strolled alongside God: and he was no more; for God took him.” – Genesis 5:24.
Enoch, the 7th descendant of Adam and Eve in the Bible, was a leader of the Nodites, along with Ramona. He was also the son of Cain.
Note that Enoch is not counted as a saint in the Roman Catholic tradition, although he does have a saints’ day on July 26 in the Armenian Apostolic Church.

The 1st Book of Enoch
The first Book of Enoch was found in Abyssinia in 1773 by James Bruce, a Scottish adventurer.
The book, which is typically dated between the 1st century AD and the 3rd century BC, is an apocryphal book in the Ethiopic Bible.
The Holy Scripture vanished for centuries before being unearthed in 1773; nevertheless, it was revered by certain early disciples of Christ.
In 1821, Richard Laurence translated it and it was published in several editions.

However, it seems that the book’s section, based on the Watchers of Book, presents a later development of the idea of eschatology and final judgment. This section is referred to as Book #6 – Similitudes (37-71).
The Book of Similitudes recounts the eschatological protagonist, also known as the Chosen One, Righteous One, and Messiah, sitting on the throne of glory in the ultimate judgment. This is referred to as the “Son of Man” in the text.
Uriel, led by divine intervention, disclosed knowledge about the movements of celestial bodies and the structure of the firmament in the section of the book titled Astronomical Writings, specifically in the range of pages 72 to 82.
The section of this book (83-90) contains a vision of the entire history of Israel, interpreted as the majority’s way to bring down the Maccabean Revolt.
In addition, this section of the book describes the appointment of 70 angels by God to protect the Israelites from enduring too much harm from beasts and birds as the end nears.

The section of the book, known as “Weeks of Apocalypse,” written around 167 B.C.E., Contains a text that some historians believe has been mentioned in the Epistle of Enoch, specifically Book #11, from pages 91 to 107.
I persisted in righteousness and justice, while I was born on the seventh day of the first week. Enoch started to narrate from the books.”
In it, the initial culmination shall occur, and deception shall have emerged; immense evil shall emerge in the subsequent week following me.
And a man shall be saved in it; unrighteousness shall grow up after it is ended; and a law shall be made for sinners.
His descendants will forever be the seed of righteousness, and a man will be chosen as the embodiment of just judgment. This will happen at the end of the third week thereafter.
An enclosure will be created for them, and a law will be established for all future generations. The righteous and holy visions will be witnessed. This will occur at the end of the fourth week, following that.
And following that, in the fifth week, at its conclusion, The eternal house of glory and sovereignty will be constructed.
Those who live godlessly shall be blinded of all wisdom in their hearts, and it shall occur in the sixth week following.
The entire race that the chosen root belongs to will be scattered, and the dominion’s house will be burned with fire, right next to it. A man will rise within it.
The actions of this entity shall be considered apostate, and all of its actions shall be deemed apostate as well. Furthermore, a great number of individuals who have turned away from their beliefs shall emerge as apostates in the seventh week after that.
And at its close shall be electedThe elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness,To receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation.”.

The 2nd Book of Enoch
#12 The Second Book of Enoch was formerly found in the Old Slavonic Bible.
It is not part of the Christian or Jewish canon.
Basically, it is an account of Enoch’s travels through the heavens, which includes certain revelations given to Enoch and exhortations to his children.
The 3rd Book of Enoch
The Book of Enoch is a Rabbinic text originally written in Hebrew and is usually dated to the 5th century CE. Some scholars attribute it to the 2nd century.
It is said to have been authored by Rabbi Ishmael and was originally written in the Hebrew language.
