Melly YNW’s fans have been eagerly awaiting the court’s decision on whether the rapper will be convicted. Meanwhile, Judge John Murphy of Broward Circuit Court has lowered the threshold for a death sentence if the musician is found guilty. Following the latest announcement, misinformation about the artist being released has been spread on the internet, leading to rumors of his death.
However, neither of the rumors are true. Latest announcements state that the trial is yet to occur.
Melly YNW, an unversed individual, was arrested on February 13, 2019, on two counts of first-degree murder. Evidence found by investigators proved that the rapper, who was fatally shot, was Thomas Christopher Jr., Aged 19, and Anthony Williams, aged 21, respectively.
Following the most recent update, the case involving the individual aged 24, who is facing the death penalty, will be the initial one to be taken into account. Presently, a judge has approved the motion put forth by the state prosecutors, which permits juries to suggest the death sentence with an 8-4 vote instead of requiring a unanimous vote.
Maurice Jamell, a rapper known by his real name Demons, has taken to the internet to express his concern over the looming death penalty, as expressed by a few tweets from his fans.
Melly YNW is still very much alive. However, if they are unaware of the trial court dates, one can assume that the singer is already dead. As it has been announced, the rapper can potentially face the death penalty.
Jamie King, the mother of the rapper, announced on her Instagram account on April 11 that the trial of her son will commence on June 5.
The Miami Herald also reported the same information. According to blackroommedia.Com, the rapper’s trial is scheduled to start on June 20. Nevertheless, recent updates suggest otherwise.
If the musician had already faced the sentence of death, the court nor his family have announced it. However, the same news would be available online.
Although the trial is yet to take place, certain fans have already fallen into the assumption that the murder on the singer’s mind, which ended and the singer won the case, is revealed through a few tweets.
However, YNW Melly remains in the main jail in Broward, although his attorneys attempted to get him released at the height of the Covid pandemic, they were not successful.
