The counter FPS enters the scene where this happens. On the screen, some people like to make sure they keep up with the action, while we already knew what kind of PC hardware you would need to play when Blizzard released the official hardware requirements. In just a few more days, everyone else will be able to jump into Sanctuary, as Diablo 4 is now available for those who preordered the digital Ultimate and Deluxe editions of the game.
There is no exception for Diablo 4, as almost every modern title displays the number of frames per second (FPS) on screen. This tool will help you manage and deliver a smooth gaming experience by telling you how many times the FPS updates while playing a game. It is especially useful as a refresher if you need to know the FPS count in case you are playing a First Person Shooter (FPS) game.
How to show your FPS in Diablo 4
If you want to keep track of this statistic in an incredibly easy way, thanks to Blizzard for adding a simple shortcut, you will need to press “CTRL+R” at any point while playing the game, and the FPS counter will appear in the bottom left corner of your screen.
Once you hit the combo key, “CTRL+R,” the counter will stay on the screen until you choose to turn it off. There’s absolutely no need to dig into the main menu or settings for the option to display it.
You can now ensure the handling of Diablo 4 on your PC with this information. If your friends boast about how well the game runs on their machines, you might want to lower certain settings to help it run smoother, especially during certain moments when it starts to falter. You can even reduce particle effects and shadows for better quality texture.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but if you are playing the game on any console versions of Diablo 4, there is currently no way to view your FPS. The option to see your FPS was only added to the PC version.
The foundations of a hellishly good time
Given the nature of this new title, it is almost impossible to guarantee how the game will fare once the live servers go live, but what is certain is that there is something fantastic about launching a game based on a live-service. A few weeks ago, Blizzard invited us to try a pre-release version of the game, which we thought might help us bring you our Review-in-progress. So, if you’re still on the edge about whether to get Diablo 4, this experience might be of assistance.
In our review, we said that Diablo 4 is genuinely a fun game that evolves the formula of Diablo, with an expansive shared world and hordes of other players. We’ll keep playing to figure out if it lives up to its promises after experiencing the rest of its content. So, you can get a deeper insight into what to expect when the game officially goes live on June 5. Check out our full review.
