At the end of his character’s storyline, he discovered that his son was being stalked by a serial killer. This led him to enter the Witness Protection Program and resign from his assignment. However, in the episode “Elliot’s Pond” of “Taboo” in October 2016, it was revealed that Gibson’s absence was due to a special assignment. The show issued a statement that included the story of his character’s exit from the show. Following their swimming competitions, Gibson and his sibling regularly visited a pizza establishment. Gibson and his sibling were both members of a swimming team. During his time as an intern at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Gibson received encouragement from mentors to apply to Juilliard. His journey in acting began during his elementary school years, as he joined the Little Theater School and later graduated from Bishop England High School. When he started singing along with a Dixieland band at that parlor, Gibson tried to imitate Armgstrong’s distinctive singing voice.
