After receiving a tip from an anonymous informant in March, officials conducted a welfare check on Noel Alvarez-Rodriguez, whose 6-year-old son had been reported missing. The family, who had fled the country, was located within two days of the welfare check, thanks to the release of photos by the North Texas police on Friday.
Investigators from the Everman Police Department said in a public statement that despite working non-stop, there are no new leads in the Amber Alert case for Noel on March 25 and the child believed to be dead on April 6.
Arshdeep and Singh, along with their mother Noel’s stepfather, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, fled to India as a family of six. The video surveillance footage from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport on March 22nd includes still images depicting their departure.
According to reports, Noel allegedly mistreated Rodriguez-Singh and fled with his family from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport to India before the police informed the Everman family members. Singh stated that he had deposited $8,000 into his account on March 22, just before leaving. Additionally, it was reported that he had stolen $10,000 from his former employer and his stepfather covered up his financial records to hide this previous incident.
The Fort-Worth Telegram reported in March that prior to the birth of his son, he was deported to Mexico, therefore investigators interviewed Noel’s biological father who stated that he had never been given the chance to meet the 6-year-old.
The Facebook post also included a video of body camera footage of canine searches and images of the patio dig site on April 10. On April 10, the Facebook post also contained body camera footage of canine searches and pictures of the patio excavation site.
The Everman Police Department declared in their statement, “We will persist in advocating for Noel,” despite the fact that we have not yet found young Noel, we have not ceased our efforts.
