The reason behind MF DOOM’s death has been disclosed, almost three years after he passed on.
The British-born rapper, whose real name is Daniel Dumile, passed away on October 31, 2020 at the age of 49. Nevertheless, the reason behind his demise was never revealed.
Dumile Jasmine, the wife of his partner, has confirmed that he had a severe and rare reaction to his blood pressure medication, known as angioedema, which he passed away from.
An investigation into his demise revealed fresh information about the situations that resulted in his departure, and Jasmine clarified that the artist experienced various medical ailments such as hypertension and renal illness.

During the time of the ongoing pandemic, Jasmine’s husband was unable to accompany her in the hospital. Subsequently, his health deteriorated, resulting in his requirement for a respirator. In response to his condition, he was admitted to St James’ Hospital in Leeds.
The inquiry is still ongoing. She claims that it was the negligence of the staff at James St Hospital in Leeds that led to her eventual DOOM’s MF, alleging that they frequently failed to check on her husband on time when it came to administering medication, especially during late hours.
The biography titled The Chronicles of DOOM: Unraveling Rap’s Masked Iconoclast, authored by experienced music journalist S. H. Fernando Jr., Is included in the strategies to preserve the rapper’s heritage. Moreover, Danger Mouse and Black Thought collaborated on an album named ‘Cheat Codes,’ which includes a contribution released after his death. Thom Yorke also shared a remix of MF DOOM’s ‘Ear’ tribute in Long Beach, New York, where a street block was officially renamed in memory of the late musician.
