In a disturbing episode of violence at a supermarket, a shopper astonishingly flung a shopping trolley towards a lady, resulting in her losing consciousness.

Rogerio Santos da Silva, 36, browsed the aisles in a store in Brazil when an unsuspecting victim, they hurled a heavy metal cart at him.

On February 16th, in the town of Santo Antonio do Descoberto, he initiated the savage assault on the lady while they waited in line to pay at the grocery store.

Startling video recorded the instance Santos da Silva serenely lifted the sizable orange cart and approached her.

The anonymous victim, aged 45, can be observed pushing her cart ahead in the cashier queue.

But she is suddenly knocked to the floor as Santos da Silva swung the cart directly at her head, seeing her collapse.

The victim, after being placed in the wheelchair to transport her, later had to be positioned before losing consciousness, which led to the merciless strike.

Despite the brutal supermarket assault, the woman miraculously did not sustain any significant harm.

But she told local media the riled shopper did not seem to care if he caused her serious damage with his antics.

The victim claimed she does not know Santos da Silva and did not even glance at him before the horror incident occurred.

However, the brute wielding the trolley asserted that he was seeking retribution following allegations of bullying by her.

The wounded customer strongly denied his allegations, asserting that she was merely “carrying out her responsibilities” without any engagement with her assailant.

She clarified: “He began fabricating falsehoods, alleging that I had cursed him, to rationalize his aggression and no one took any action.

“I did not look at him in a misunderstanding, nor did I say a word to this man, nor did I curse him at any time.”

“I was simply living my life and carrying out my responsibilities as a regular citizen. And this assault occurred.

I was carried to a wheelchair by others, feeling unbearable pain in my head that prevented me from speaking, and temporarily lost consciousness, unable to move.

The victim believes Santos da Silva deliberately searched for the most lethal weapon he could find in the grocery store.

She continued by stating that the most dangerous object he found in the vicinity at that moment was a shopping cart from the supermarket, and he deliberately chose to take the chance of causing harm to me.

“A bulky wagon like that, combined with the impact that was exerted, essentially increases the mass!”

“It struck one delicate area of my head, the temples.”

Her terrified spouse, who also desired to stay unidentified, echoed his wife’s account of the incidents.

“He added: ‘They didn’t exchange a word.’ It was purely what is in the video. There was no discussion or anything like that,” he emphasized.

The spouse claims that following the merciless attack, Santos da Silva shouted: “This is for you to learn and stop chasing me!”.

Outside the establishment, standing alongside a police officer.

However, he was only accused of minor physical injury and immediately set free.

As reported by G1, the accused individual has signed a Comprehensive Occurrence Agreement (TCO) in relation to the event.

Santos da Silva could allegedly be imprisoned for a maximum of two years or potentially face a substantial penalty.

The assailant was previously charged with attempted homicide in 2021 after allegations of domestic abuse.
