Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get honored warranty? I need to replace this battery that costs $210 (only with the receipt). The warranty on the battery is good until September 2022, as indicated by the sticker on the battery that expires on 9/19. The battery has a 3-year replacement warranty, even if it is not even 2.5 years old. However, they won’t honor the warranty if I don’t have the receipt, and I don’t have it. I bought the battery from Orileys auto parts and it is a “Start” Super battery that is completely dead. Hi,
Which battery brand does everyone here favor? This isn’t for my pickup truck, but it’s for my 2015 Grand Cherokee.
I am surprised that they do not track serial numbers. How does Walmart and other companies handle this? The date code can be used as a reference, but it is not necessarily a warranty. If you purchased it in January 2020, your warranty would be valid until 2023, for example, if the code date is 9/19. Is it possible to reach out to a district or corporate manager? Do you have another location you could try?
The next day, I’m planning to attempt at a different site. Upon contacting them, they didn’t respond but I received the direct message contact. It was purchased midway through the state of Texas. They ought to be capable of assisting if I return to the establishment where it was purchased; the supervisor mentioned that they were unable to trace it using the serial number.
O’Reilly has always linked my phone number to my warranty and keeps a record of my purchases. Keeping the receipt is pointless over time as it tends to disappear.
I just purchased a NAPA Professional Legend battery for my son’s 2003 Jeep Overland, and got a discount of 15% off and a rebate of $120 a couple of weeks ago.
The Jeep wouldn’t start on cold days due to its old AGM battery, which has a warranty that is difficult to claim as it has a cell death and/or CCA rating that is 50% less than the original.
Since we didn’t attend the AGM this time, I think they kept his usage low and charged a low fee, don’t they?
The new battery has 850 cold cranking amps and really rotates the 4.7 high output engine easily when starting.

(Of course, they would want the original receipt in the future!) I think I will start taking pictures of all my receipts. That receipt was worth over $200. Orileys does not have either of our phone numbers. She got it there, and my wife was visiting friends in the Houston area. I didn’t buy the battery.

The new battery has 850 CCA and really spins the 4.7 HO right over when starting.
Although I have ensured proper ventilation to the outside, I am uncertain about having a typical battery placed within the vehicle. The battery of the Grand Cherokee is located beneath the front passenger seat. Did your son have his battery installed within the vehicle or under the car’s hood? It was undoubtedly in poor condition as it dropped to 8.5 volts during the test. The battery was both charged and examined.

He is outdoors, yeah, I can understand why you wouldn’t want a regular battery there.
Their battery examiner approves it, but there’s definitely something amiss with it temporarily. It possesses decent electrical flow still, but I believe I inadvertently augmented his AGM battery while presently attempting to deactivate it.
Once again, the discounted price made the Annual General Meeting of NAPA more cost-effective compared to any other venue I could find.
Despite being old and ongoing, my original Ram 1500 still went well with the H8 battery Ecodiesel. In fact, I recently replaced one of their AGM batteries.
And they are manufactured in the United States. Therefore, hoping that they are a high-quality battery.
Henceforth, I will solely be acquiring batteries from NAPA. One month ago, I had to substitute the batteries in my girlfriend’s father’s diesel vehicle. The batteries, which were only 10 months old, perished due to insufficient usage of the truck throughout the previous year. Sadly, he succumbed after a year-long struggle with stage 4 lung cancer.
I was shocked when I walked out of the store with brand new items in less than 5 minutes. They had good prices too. The old batteries were promptly replaced with new ones. They offer a warranty that is transferable, which is important because I didn’t need any paperwork or proof of purchase. The warranty is valid for 3 years and covers prorated months up to 75 as well.
In any type of weather, whether it be extremely cold or extremely hot, my Ram parks outside all year round. I purchased it from a discount dealer for $136, and the core was submitted when the door was taken off. I replaced it with a Mopar battery that has a full 3-year warranty and a CCA of 850. It lasted me until spring of its 7th year before I had to replace it. In 2014, I also replaced another battery that had lasted 7 years. I have been fortunate to have good luck with Mopar OEM batteries.
