The release of details about the Draft NFL in Kansas City, Missouri, starting the plans on how to help with traffic control in the areas around Union Station and downtown Kansas City, where thousands and hundreds of people move, is underway.
Here’s what supporters who are attending the draft need to be aware of regarding parking, transportation, and public transit alternatives.
Main Fan Entrance
The main entrance for fans heading to the NFL Draft is situated at the junction of Wyandotte Street and Memorial Drive. The position of this entrance is on the southern side of the National WWI Museum and Memorial.
Park and Walk
Downtown and the River Market vicinity offer several parking lot options. Fans can choose to park in these lots and utilize the complimentary KC Streetcar service.
Additionally, parking is accessible in the Crossroads Arts District, Central Business District, Crown Center, Westport, and the Country Club Plaza.

During the NFL Draft, pedestrians should have access to Grand Boulevard, but they will not be able to access 20th Street from South Street as it will be closed to traffic.
Park and Ride
Ticket registration can be completed online at visitkc.Com. Enthusiasts are required to pre-register in order to avail the shuttle service and take advantage of the complimentary parking, which will transport them to Union Station.
The shuttle will run from the garage to Summit Street, transporting fans to and from the Draft at Entry 2, where they will be both dropped off and picked up.
This is the sole park-and-ride alternative.
Fans can also park for free at Arena Hy-Vee near Garage Bottoms West City’s Kansas from April 29, Saturday to April 27, Thursday.
Street Parking
On-street parking is also accessible
If the KC Streetcar is traveling along Route Streetcar, every part of the vehicle, including the side mirrors, must be inside the white lines. It is important to remember to park the vehicles within the painted white lines.
Vehicles that are not parked within the designated markings may incur damage or be towed away.
KC Streetcar Schedule

The bus service in Kansas City is also free to ride at any time.
The MAX line is the urban rapid transit line that passes through Downtown to the 2023 NFL Draft at Union Station.
The MAX route will run along Penn Valley Drive.
Gain entry to the 2023 Draft by strolling a short distance of 5 minutes to Main Entry 1 from the 29th Street station where supporters are advised to disembark from the bus.
Rideshare
Services such as Uber and Lyft will also be operating during the NFL Draft.
Simply enter the “National WWI Museum and Memorial” as your destination. Your driver will drop you off at the designated rideshare drop-off zone. Follow the signs to the main entrance for entry.

Accessibility Information
A restricted quantity of ADA parking permits are accessible for the NFL Draft in the West Yards Garage of Union Station. These permits are intended for individuals who require them, and there are only a limited number of spaces available.
Online permits are available for purchase. Each permit for ADA parking costs $50 per day. Guests must pick up and pre-purchase their ADA hang tag from April 21-23.
