It is arguably the most disturbing trend that we may believe what those who educate and understand it consider important. That’s why it is so concerning to see the nasty idea of the day in the light of social media on April 24th.
A significant number of individuals are experiencing offense on the internet due to its usage as a source of amusement. Moreover, it is crucial to note that this day is not recognized nationally and lacks any official status. The term “National Rape Day” began to gain attention in 2021, with some individuals glorifying the heinous act of sexual assault. This alarming trend occurs specifically on April 24th.
The false news about April 24, where the details are unclear, initially surfaced. However, many people did not engage in watching videos or commenting on it, as it was not a popular trend for a long time. Nevertheless, this disturbing trend of spreading more information has led to efforts to ensure the safety of others and especially women. Some individuals attempted to dismiss it as a mere joke.
Looking ahead to 2023, the trend is regaining popularity as individuals endeavor to increase awareness regarding it.
TikTok users caution others about the trend
When schools issue warnings, it is important for students and parents to take notice that there is a clear and significant craze about social media.
Some people are still wondering about the legitimacy of the claims and how much truth there is to them, as they continue to see it on their timelines. We had hoped that this nasty ‘craze’ would be pushed back to the darkest corners of the internet by now. This was the case with schools in the UK, who were warned about it back in 2021.
The response: Absolutely zero!
People have been creating videos to inform others about disturbingly false news. “This is sick, and it’s my birthday this month. If anyone needs help, I’m here to stand by! If someone is needed, please call with a strap! Ladies, please purchase your own straps,” one user wrote.
On April 24th, “Another” was added to the person who needs to be put away and is causing major trouble for me and others.
Another comment, it’s absolutely disgusting what has happened back in this world. It’s horrifying to think that half of the children have to walk to school alone and the fact that there are also children in school who aren’t safe, shows that some people lack basic humanity.
Please report it if you come across a video related to this subject that makes you feel uneasy. However, since it is sexual awareness month, the contentious video deliberately selected the date to provoke further controversy. It was intentionally created to elicit a response, a fabricated video in which the day is non-existent, for clarification purposes.
In connection with the fabricated national holiday, there haven’t been any official accounts of any attacks occurring since its inception two years ago.
