During the show, and prior to that, she grabbed a red jacket to wear on stage, then she exited and turned her back to the camera until she held the shirt in place, flawlessly and quickly correcting the issue. Cyrus didn’t let the show stop as she smoothly transitioned from her performance of “Party in the U.S.A.” However, on Friday, the superstar suffered a wardrobe malfunction as her silver shirt fell off.

Cyrus didn’t miss a beat as she reentered the topless stage in a red jacket and continued the show with background singers and her band.

I’m still in the clothes that I’ve ever worn on stage, and in this scenario, the lyrics to her 2009 anthem “Adding” fit perfectly, so Cyrus sang, “Everybody’s definitely looking at me now.”

Cyrus stated as she wrapped up the performance, “We should carry that into the upcoming year with us. Additionally, that determination should not stop at this point. The show this evening revolved around adaptability, going with the flow, and finding the silver lining in even the most unfavorable situations. I am extremely grateful to each and every one of you, thank you.”

The show concluded with a spectacular grand finale featuring a magnificent fireworks show.
