Aguilar Espinoza refuted any involvement in a legal conflict with her spouse regarding a purported spousal support demand, as reported by Milenio. Caro, Quintero’s wife, clarified that her sole intention was to obtain her minor child’s passport by replacing her husband’s consent.

As per Politico MX’s report, Espinoza Aguilar mentioned that she aimed to acquire it through an “act of voluntary jurisdiction.” The essential paperwork required to proceed with her son’s passport needs to be signed by the reputed founder of the Guadalajara Cartel.

According to reports, the case will be heard in a family court in the state of Jalisco on August 25. However, Caro Quintero will not be required to attend the court proceedings.

A federal judge recently issued a restraining order to Caro Quintero that halted his extradition to the United States at this time.

It is probable that the delays will disappoint U.S. Officials, but it is still unclear how long the trial will take. The fact that the founder of the Guadalajara Cartel cannot be handed over to U.S. Authorities without a trial being held first means that it is still unknown.

It was said that there would be no waste of time in requesting his extradition, and the U.S. Government hailed the arrest. Rafael Quintero Caro was arrested again last week in the state of Sinaloa. It is now unclear who is handling the cartel’s operations. Quintero Caro is now behind bars once again.
