Nick Cannon Reacts to Rumors He Died

What happened to Nick Cannon? Is he alive or dead? This fact was featured in a headline shared by the Nigerian Idoma Voice outlet on Friday.

The corresponding article reported that Google searches had produced results claiming The Masked Singer host Cannon passed away on March 12, 2023.

The date of death claimed by Cannon is stated as March 15, 2023 on the page titled “R.I.P. Nick Cannon,” which has garnered nearly 1 million likes from users of the widely used platform, according to a Facebook page.

However, the same article mentions parody website Media Mass as quoting a spokesperson of Cannon dismissing the rumor.

“Still alive and well,” he says, “stop trusting everything you come across on the Internet. This quote claims that he has joined the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax.”

Newsweek has contacted a spokesperson from Cannon for a statement.

A seemingly entertained Cannon took to Twitter on Friday morning to respond to the prank.

“What else did I get you?!” Cannon wrote, laughing emoji alongside. “They’ve been trying to kill me off for years… Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death!”

“Commented musician Perré Aye, including one from Twitter users, attracted a multitude of remarks from the post, informing them that you haven’t finished populating the earth.”

On December 14, Scott Alyssa concluded his boom baby of 2022, welcoming five children with five women in the span of five months. Cannon’s sizable brood has grown with the father of 12 children.

The large TV personality’s family has seen him become the focus of numerous jokes in recent years, often laughing publicly along with himself.

It was later revealed that the mock trailer was part of the upcoming E! Celebrity Prank Wars series, in which comedians made their debut on April 6.
