The Kia warranty program, which lasts for 10 years or 100,000 miles, includes:

  • 10-year/100,000-mile restricted powertrain guarantee.
  • 5-year/60,000-mile restricted fundamental warranty.
  • 5-year/100,000-mile restricted anti-rust guarantee.
  • 5-year/60,000-mile roadside support program.
  • Each offers insurance protection until either the annual or overall mileage limit is reached, whichever occurs first.

    This warranty program is applicable to vehicles produced from 2008 onwards.

    Coverage Restrictions

The powertrain warranty is limited to either 60,000 miles or five years, whichever comes first, and is only valid for commercial vehicles. The Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program includes various limited warranties, such as interruption and roadside assistance, anti-perforation, powertrain, and basic coverage.

    URGENT ROADSIDE SUPPORT

    They will assist you without any cost – aiding you in common small incidents such as drained batteries, punctures (as long as you possess a spare tire that is not punctured), and running out of fuel. We have established a network of more than 17,000 providers of roadside help, ensuring that a complimentary phone call is futile unless it leads to someone arriving to save you.

    If you have a relevant concern covered by the Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program, your repairs might be included. If you encounter a warrantable concern that cannot be immediately resolved, we will ensure that you are towed, free of charge, to the nearest Kia dealer or Alternate Service Location (ASL), whichever is more convenient.

    If you unfortunately experience a break-down outside of regular business hours, on a weekend, or on a holiday, your car will be towed and kept by an authorized Kia vendor. It will then be transported to the nearest dealer or ASL on the following business morning.

    Policy for Interruption of Trips

    Expenses for travel disruption are refunded if the repairs exceed 24 hours and the breakdown happens more than 150 miles away from the customer’s residence. Compensation is provided for food, accommodation, and rental car costs. The maximum coverage for travel disruption is $100 per day, with a total limit of three days per occurrence. The customer is required to get in touch with the Kia Consumer Assistance Center and describe the situation in order to claim reimbursement. A representative at the Kia Consumer Assistance Center will evaluate whether the circumstances meet the requirements for travel disruption benefits and notify the customer regarding the reimbursement for travel disruption expenses.

    Reimbursement is not available for insurance deductibles, costs, and claims covered by the customer’s insurance provider or other third-party entities.
