The Georgia Bulldogs have once again reached the highest point of the college football domain after prevailing in the 2023 College Football Playoff National Championship.

    Alabama emerged as the victor of the national championship, triumphing over LSU with a score of 21-0 in the BCS Championship Game during their rematch. The sole defeat they experienced was in the 2011 regular season against the LSU Tigers in overtime on November 5, 2011, with Alabama concluding the season with a record of 11-1.

    In the championship, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish were crushed 42-14, as part of a year where the Crimson Tide outscored their adversaries 172-42. On Nov. 10, 2012, the only imperfection was a defeat against the Texas A&M Aggies, with Bama concluding the 2012 regular season with a record of 11-1 once again.

    USC’s sole loss came in triple overtime against the California Golden Bears. USC concluded the regular season with a record of 11-1, managing to score 30 or more points in 11 out of their 13 games during that season. The 2003 Trojans offense was incredibly efficient.

    USC was ranked No. 1 in the AP poll, but they also earned the No. 1 spot in the coaches’ poll. They defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in the BCS national title game, resulting in a co-championship outcome. The LSU Tigers were also defeated by USC, leading to a split national championship. USC secured their victory in the Rose Bowl against the Michigan Wolverines with a 28-14 win.

    The Oklahoma Sooners, with a record of 19-55, defeated the USC Trojans, becoming the first team since the Nebraska Cornhuskers in 1994-95 to win the national AP championship for the second time. USC, with a regular-season record of 12-0 in 2004, secured a spot in the BCS game.

    In 1994, the Cornhuskers assembled an unprecedented two-year period, amassing a perfect 12-0 regular-season record and tallying 40 or more points in six out of 12 games. The defense conceded 15 points or less in seven matches. During the national championship game held at the Orange Bowl, the Cornhuskers found themselves trailing the Miami Hurricanes 17-9 in the fourth quarter, yet Nebraska orchestrated a remarkable comeback and emerged victorious with a 24-17 win.     In 1995, Nebraska’s Cornhuskers had an impressive regular-season record of 11-0. They led the country in scoring (52.4) and rushing yards (399.8) per game, winning against their opponents with an average of 38.7 points. Despite facing little resistance from their opponents, they managed to achieve this remarkable feat.

    In the 1994-95 school year, Nebraska achieved a remarkable feat by winning 25 consecutive games. During the semifinal CFP game in 2022, Michigan Wolverines and TCU Horned Frogs scored a total of 96 points, setting a record for the highest combined score in the history of the Fiesta Vrbo Bowl. In the national championship game at the Fiesta Bowl, the Cornhuskers’ offense dominated, securing a resounding 62-24 victory against the Florida Gators and showcasing their supreme scoring ability. This win also led Nebraska to claim the national championship title.
