The family of Arielle Anderson, the student who was killed during Monday’s mass shooting on the campus of Michigan State University, has also organized a memorial fundraiser and vigil in her honor.
On Friday morning, Timothy Davis, Uncle Anderson’s nephew, expressed his gratitude for the love, support, and donations received on his GoFundMe page, which had already surpassed the initial goal of $50,000. We truly appreciate all the contributions.
Authorities announced on Thursday that a shooting survivor has transitioned from a critical to a stable state. Additionally, five individuals sustained injuries and were admitted to the hospital. Among the victims were Brian Fraser, a 20-year-old resident of Grosse Pointe, and Alexandria Verner, a 20-year-old resident of Clawson, both of whom were students. Tragically, the incident claimed the lives of two other individuals.
Anderson, a resident of Harper Woods, graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 2021. Over the summer, she dedicated her time to assisting senior citizens. Her ambition is to pursue a career in medicine. Her family members affectionately characterized Anderson, who is 19 years old, as intelligent, motivating, and down-to-earth.

Crisis counselors rearranged their timetables to assist students and faculty members at MSU.
This week, the family expressed in a declaration, “She was fervent about aiding her acquaintances and kin, supporting youngsters and attending to individuals. As deeply as we cherished her, she adored us and others even more. She holds immense significance to us. We mourn the loss of our cherished daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Arielle Anderson.”
Anderson was striving to complete his studies ahead of schedule at MSU.
The declaration continued to express, “We are completely shattered by this atrocious act of aggression towards her and numerous other blameless individuals.” Arielle, as a celestial being present on Earth, was kind and affectionate with a captivating smile that was highly infectious.
Vigil light candle is scheduled at 5 p.M. On Saturday at the First English Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grosse Pointe Woods, 800 Vernier Road, across from Grosse Pointe North High School. Visitation is scheduled from 7 p.M. To 2 a.M. On Monday at Cantrell Funeral Home, 22121 Kelly Road in Eastpointe. The funeral will take place at 11 a.M. On Tuesday at Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 4867 Van Dyke Street in Detroit.
There has been a surge of support for the victims of the mass shooting that took place at Michigan State on Monday.
Guadalupe Huapilla-Perez, the older sister of one of the injured, initiated a GoFundMe page and stated that MSU, her sister, is a junior studying hospitality business at Huapilla-Perez. As of Friday morning, the fundraiser has collected over $396,000. The family members were expecting to bear the expenses and monthly bills.
Fraser served as the president of Theta Delta Phi MSU’s fraternity chapter. In addition to raising more than $75,000 towards their goal, the chapter also launched a memorial scholarship in his name on Friday morning.
Organizers have stated that the Phi Theta Delta Phi Scholarship Memorial Presidential Fund will provide support for the future education of students who embody Brian’s energy, loyalty, caring nature, contagious smile, and charisma. This fund is a tribute to Brian’s memory and will help fulfill the hopes of his parents and the Beta Michigan presidents in assisting students.
