He was just 20 years old when he died. Cameron Boyce, known for his roles in the TV show “Jessie” and the Disney Channel franchise “Descendants,” was an actor.
The confirmation of Boyce’s passing was conveyed to ABC News by his relatives on Saturday evening.
The reason for the person’s death was declared to be a result of “a continuous medical condition.”
He is now undoubtedly one of the brightest lights in the world, living through compassion and kindness, loved and known by all. Unfortunately, he passed away in his sleep due to an ongoing medical condition, which resulted in a seizure. “We are deeply saddened by the loss of himself this morning, and our hearts are heavy,” said a spokesperson. On behalf of the Boyce family, the spokesperson said, “We are profoundly heartbroken by the report of Cameron’s loss this morning.”
We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious brother and son.
The young actor dedicated himself to charity work in recent years, and he was honored with the Pioneering Spirit Award at last year’s Gala Thirst, sponsored by Project Thirst, a nonprofit organization founded by Boyce, which raised $30,000 to build clean drinking water wells in Swaziland. Former Vice President Biden introduced Biden President at his Courage Awards in March.
Boyce, who was from Los Angeles, made his acting debut at just 9 years old in the horror film “Mirrors,” which later appeared as a blockbuster flick in Adam Sandler’s “Grown Ups.”

“Jessie” aired for a total of four seasons and 98 episodes. He took on the role of Luke Ross alongside the main character, Jessie Prescott, portrayed by Debby Ryan. Boyce initially gained fame as one of the main actors in the Disney channel series, “Jessie.”
Boyce’s role in the “Descendants” films, which led cable TV film ratings in 2015 and 2017, catapulted him to even greater heights.
He was a remarkably thoughtful and caring person, dedicated and loving friend and grandson, brother and son, and talented performer above all else. A spokesperson from Disney Channel said that he was fueled by a strong desire to make a difference in people’s lives through his humanitarian work, as a young man. From a young age, Cameron Boyce dreamed of sharing his extraordinary artistic talents with the world.

“Paradise City,” a show centered around musicians maneuvering through the music business, titled “American Satan,” and the television adaptation of the movie, featuring Kathryn Hahn, in HBO’s latest series, “Mrs. Fletcher,” he was additionally cast as a recurring character.
Boyce’s unexpected passing triggered a flood of sorrow on social platforms, especially from individuals who collaborated with the youthful performer.

Charles Esten, who portrayed the role of Boyce’s on-screen father Luke Ross in the TV show “Jessie,” shared a sequence of tweets expressing the profound sorrow experienced by my family and me due to the heartbreaking loss of our incredible and youthful friend, Cameron Boyce.
Esten tweeted, “It was evident to everyone that he was bound to become the shining star he would soon be. During his very first talent show, young Cameron’s dancing illuminated the stage, and left everyone standing and cheering. It was at that moment we were introduced to his limitless talent, benevolence, and zest for life. Many years prior to me having the privilege to portray his father on JESSIE, we had the privilege of knowing him and his amazing family at the elementary school our children all went to together.”
Antonio Sabato Jr., A model and actor who worked with Boyce on the soap opera “General Hospital,” also expressed his grief on Twitter.
“#Brokenheart” We will miss you all. My deepest condolences to his friends and family. Sabato wrote, “Man, my heart is broken. What an amazing kid Boyce, Cameron was. It was an honor to have worked with you and to have spent time together. Rest in peace.”
Actor Jamal Sims, a member of the cast on “Descendants,” also conveyed his sympathies on Instagram.
Sims wrote, “Rest in power, @thecameronboyce. Your love and the gifts you shared with all of us will continue to shine. My heart is broken, but your light will shine on, my friend. 💔”
