Versace is a renowned designer fragrance brand that is famous for its high-quality scents, which are blind buys that are considered safe and crowd-pleasers for both women and men.
Introduced in 1996, Versace’s The Dreamer For Men Eau De Toilette Spray defies this norm. Suitable for outdoor usage, the fragrance is distinctive.
The review will provide you with information about the usage, presentation, and underlying scents of the fragrance. If you are someone who has a preference for Versace’s Dreamer, this review may be helpful to you in determining whether you like it or not.
The EDT Versace is an unusual and potent combination of two very distinctive scents, tobacco and floral. It could be a great candidate for layering fragrance, as some people just don’t like the extreme smell of bad soap.
The heart of The Dreamer is composed of a blend of geranium, rose, and tobacco, which seems to be the main aspect that many individuals find objectionable. The top notes of this fragrance consist of mandarin, lavender, and clary sage. As The Dreamer dries down, it gradually transforms into a warm woody scent from its initial sweet start.
Cedar and tonka bean serve as the foundational aromas. They manage to achieve it, but I find it to be an unusual combination. Normally, the scent of tobacco is perceived as more recently harvested and sharper in fragrances. Nevertheless.
This bottle prominently showcases the Medusa logo, much like the rest of Versace’s fragrance line. Compared to many of their other bottle designs, this one has a more subtle theme with a light silver and gold color scheme.
The atomizer is sturdy and given the potency of this scent, one to two sprays should suffice.
The Dreamer’s gift set, consisting of the cologne bottle, foaming gel, and aftershave, features identical notes. Additionally, the fragrance is offered in a men’s gift set comprising of three pieces.
I would say the EDT is more of a fall/winter scent — certainly well suited to cool temperatures.
I primarily wear weekend casual attire, but I could see myself wearing romantic or evening wear for work. It’s polished enough, but I prefer to spend more time walking in the snow and less time clubbing.
Fragrance Trail and Duration
Versace’s fragrance, The Dreamer, has long-lasting longevity and projects strongly.
If you’re looking for something that lasts all evening, I woke up the next day still smelling like I said, I don’t like wearing a strong fragrance to meetings or the office. This is a great bet.
Personally, I truly enjoy the unique balance and distinctive scents of tobacco, geranium, and rose in The Dreamer by Versace, which stands out for its originality.
A specimen worth pursuing may be valuable. Otherwise, it may still be worth purchasing without prior knowledge if you can obtain it for a 50% discount from Amazon. Lately, it is not a favorite among the masses, but nevertheless, I am aware.
