Pearl Jam, the Hall of Fame Rock and Roll band, will be returning to St. Paul for the first time in over eight years on September 2 and August 31, according to the headline from Center Energy Xcel.

The promoter or the venue has not announced the ticket prices. Tickets will go on sale through Ticketmaster’s website from 10 a.M. On April 28th. The tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster’s Fan Verified program, which requires advance registration. The sale will open at 7 p.M. On April 25th.

Before the concert was officially announced, the band is offering “the majority of tickets to Ten Club members” who have already become part of the fan club. PJ Premium tickets are also available for purchase through Ticketmaster, which they refer to as such. These tickets are situated in “preferred locations” within the arena, account for approximately 10 percent of the total seats, and are priced at the current market rate. All tickets, including any additional fees, have specified prices and cannot be transferred to others.

Pearl Jam, the band that emerged from Seattle in 1991, established themselves as a must-see act when they toured Lollapalooza in 1992. Their debut album “Ten” produced three hit singles, “Jeremy,” “Even Flow,” and “Alive,” and sales of over 10 million copies.

The band famously took on Ticketmaster in 1994, claiming that the company was a monopoly charging too many fees. Starting with their second album, “Vs.,” The band stopped following many of the traditional rules of the mainstream music business, refusing to make a few interviews and videos.

Pearl Jam released their 11th album, “Gigaton,” in late March 2020, two weeks after the country went into lockdown due to the pandemic. Both “Wolfmoon” and “Dance of the Clairvoyants” were warmly received on rock radio.

Pearl Jam has played the Twin Cities only four times over the past twenty years. They headlined the X in 2003 and 2014, and also shared the bill with Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers for two concerts in 2006 at the arena.
