The Nintendo eShop is now releasing the Zero Area of Treasure Hidden: The 2 Part and The Mask Teal: Zero Area of Treasure Hidden. These two adventures consist of different parts and will take fans deeper into the world of Violet Pokémon or Scarlet Pokémon. The launch is scheduled for fall 2023. The Zero Area of Treasure Hidden has already surpassed 10 million units in combined sales within the first three days after its worldwide release on November 18, 2022. The game has become the highest-selling software on any Nintendo platform. Additionally, the Violet and Scarlet Pokémon games have seen global sales success. In a special Pokémon Presents video streamed online to fans around the world on February 27, 2023, The Pokémon Company announced new downloadable content for the blockbuster Pokémon video games. The presentation took place during Pokémon Day in Bellevue, WA.

Tsunekazu Ishihara, the president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, expressed his gratitude, stating, “We deeply appreciate the multitude of Trainers from all over the globe who have selected to venture through the vast Paldea region. Enthusiasts will embark on a remarkable expedition to the Kitakami land, where they will encounter fresh Pokémon and fascinating individuals in The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero. Trainers who embark on this novel quest will encounter the identical exhilaration and delight they felt when they first encountered their initial Pokémon. I genuinely wish for this to be the case.”

The story is split into two parts, connecting the parts together. The players will travel to Blueberry Academy, which is the sister school of their own academy, as the story unfolds. This is Part 2 of “The Indigo Disk” tale. The academy is jointly holding an outdoor study program between their own academy and Blueberry Academy.

The tales of this land, passed down through generations, reveal the unfolding mysteries as they encounter new companions and Pokémon. During this season, players will find themselves amidst a lively village filled with diverse street vendors and stalls. This village is closely connected to the regularly celebrated festival in Kitakami, where a majestic mountain overlooks the landscape and its inhabitants reside at its foothills. With its picturesque rice paddies and flourishing apple orchards, this serene location offers a tranquil retreat. In Part 1: The Teal Mask, players will have the opportunity to embark on a school trip to the enchanting land of Kitakami, collaborating with another school and being selected to participate.

In Part 1: The Teal Mask and Part 2: The Indigo Disk, players will have the opportunity to encounter more than 230 familiar Pokémon that have been discovered residing in other regions but had not previously made an appearance in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Through the use of Pokémon HOME or through trades, players will be able to bring these Pokémon to their games. Additionally, players will come across new Legendary Pokémon–Ogerpon in Part 1: The Teal Mask and Terapagos in Part 2: The Indigo Disk. These Pokémon are adored by the villagers as heroes who once safeguarded the land of Kitakami, and stone statues were created in their honor as a symbol of the people’s gratitude. In Part 1: The Teal Mask, players will also encounter three Pokémon known as Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti.

The information about the hidden treasure area will be valid from Thursday, February 29, 2024. The serial code for Tera, a type of Dark and Mark, is very charismatic and has a nasty and plot malice. Along with Tera’s Bitter Blast move, players cannot learn the Happy Hour move through normal gameplay. Zoroark Hisuian, with his special features, will be given a special gift: a serial code for the hidden treasure area on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, for players who purchase it.

[2] The initiation of the Treasure Hunt takes place after approximately three hours of gameplay, although the duration of individual gameplay may differ. In order to commence the primary narrative of Part 1: The Teal Mask, players must have already embarked on their Treasure Hunt in either Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet. Similarly, to embark on the primary narrative of Part 2: The Indigo Disk, players must have reached the conclusion of their Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game and accomplished the main storyline of Part 1: The Teal Mask. To acquire The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero through the in-game menu, players need to have updated their Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game to version 1.2.0 or a higher version.

This special offer for early purchasers can be obtained by connecting their Nintendo Switch console to the online network. In order to establish an internet connection, the user profile on a player’s console must be linked to a Nintendo Account. This special offer can only be redeemed once using the unique serial code. Once the code has been used to claim the gift, players will not be able to utilize the same code in another saved file. It takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of gameplay to access the Mystery Gift feature and utilize the serial codes.
