Maurice Jamell Demons, also known by his stage name YNW Melly, is a popular American singer and rapper who gained further fame after being charged with the double-murder of two fellow rappers in the collective YNW. He released his debut album “Melvin vs. Melly” in November 2019, which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard 200 chart. He is well-known for his songs “223’s,” “Suicidal,” “Personalities,” “Mixed Mind,” and “My Murder.”

Currently awaiting trial, Demons March In has not pleaded guilty to the charges of double-murder. Additionally, he is also a suspect in the murder of a deputy sheriff in Gifford. However, he was charged and arrested in February 2019 for two counts of premeditated first-degree murder, and if convicted, he may face the possibility of the death penalty or a life sentence without parole.

Jamell Maurice Demons, also known as YNW Melly, has been in custody since he was accused of murder.
