In August 20, 2022, GAC Family will undergo a slight rebranding and become known as Great American Family (GAF). In July 2022, GAC Media made an announcement that GAC Family (previously known as Great American Country) was launched in September 2021 with the tagline “Stories Well Told,” showcasing family-oriented shows, original holiday films, and romantic comedies that embrace faith, family, and country. The network’s holiday schedule, “Great American Christmas,” debuted in the same year.
The holiday season will kick off in October with the premiere of the network’s largest lineup of original Christmas movies to date, including the first-ever “Christmas American Great.” American Great Family is expanding its Christmas movie slate this year with 21 new original titles, and will continue to do so in 2022 with 18 more titles.
